MPS graduate student Joanne Thomson: Michigan State University to send seeds around the moon

Michigan State University has partnered with NASA to complete research that is - literally, out of this world.

MSU Foundation Professor Federica Brandizzi is leading the research team to send the seeds out on the unmanned spacecraft, Artemis 1.

Artemis 1 is NASA’s first trip of many, working to establish a long-term human presence on the moon. The craft will take off on Aug 29, and will contain various research projects alongside MSU’s seeds.
