Financial Aid

Students do not have to make special application for financial aid. The MPS program only accepts as many students as we have funding for at least their first year.

Students are typically supported by their major professors after the first year. Other funding sources include training grants, individual research grants, fellowships, and teaching assistantships. Students are strongly encouraged to apply for National Science Foundation Pre-doctoral Fellowships and other sources of external funding.
